The DAC has been upgraded from ES9068AS to the flagship DAC combination of AKM AK4191EQ+AK4499EX. The headphone amplifier has been upgraded to THX 78+, with a 54% increase in output power at 32Ω and a significant 162% increase at 300Ω when Super Large Ear mode is activated. An independent switch for desktop mode has been added, allowing one-button activation. A separate power and charging interface has been introduced. Using POWER IN for charging, the Super Charge Pump can be activated, reaching a maximum charging current of 5.5A. It can reach almost 50% charge in half an hour, 80% in an hour, and a full charge takes only 2 hours, reducing charging time by 43% compared to the M11Plus.

AKM Flagship DAC Chipset

At the heart of the new M23, we have the latest AKM AK4499EX and AK4191EQ DAC chipsets. This 32-bit Velvet DAC from AKM Technologies promises exceptionally solid sound signal decoding, ensuring true high-resolution PCM and DSD audio decoding with ultra-low distortion and high SNR performance.

High Power Output

With the help of a THX AAA 78+ fully balanced 4-channel amplifier section, the FiiO M23 produces a high-power output. It delivers a maximum power of up to 1W per channel when used in Desktop mode. With such enormous power, the FiiO M23 can easily drive most IEMs and headphones with ease.

Dual USB Connection Ports

The FiiO M23 is the first portable audio player from the brand to feature independent dual USB ports. One of these ports is a dedicated power input that can be used to connect to a power adapter and charge the device or use it in dedicated Desktop mode. The other port can be used with smartphones and other devices as a dedicated USB DAC/amplifier.

Independent digital and analog power supply

FiiO has specially developed a 4-phase, 20-rail power architecture for the M23. This provides a solid foundation for the digital and analog sections of the device and provides them with independent, isolated power for optimal performance.

FiiO Special Digital Audio Purification System (DAPS)

FiiO has developed a Digital Audio Purification System (DAPS) that combines a FiiO-developed Hi-Res audio core that bypasses the Android system and a low-jitter femtosecond clock processor. Together, the system delivers unified Hi-Res audio performance across multiple Android system applications and promises top-notch sound performance across each application.

High-capacity battery with support for fast charging

The FiiO M23 features a large 5500mAh battery with support for 30W fast charging. The M23 has a solid battery life of up to 10.5 hours in single-ended mode and up to 9 hours in balanced connection mode. It supports 30W fast charging that charges the device up to 80% in 1 hour.
