Dynaudio Focus 10, the smallest member of the Focus family, is not just a simple pair of active bookshelf speakers. It is a complete HiFi music system that brings inside all the technology developed over the years by the Danish brand and marries it with the most up-to-date wireless functions - for maximum connectivity and versatility.

Focus speakers integrate the legendary driver technologies that have made Dynaudio a point of reference for lovers of High Fidelity. They also use the internal amplification modules used in professional reference studio monitors.

Absolute versatility

Whether you are purchasing your first system or upgrading your current set-up, Focus 10 bookshelf speakers may prove to be the best solution. They are a complete HiFi system incorporating a quality streamer that can play all online platforms via Wi-Fi, Ethernet or Bluetooth. Focus speakers support Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, Apple AirPlay 2, Google Chromecast, Qplay, UPnP and Netradio. And I'm also Roon Ready.

Focus 10 can play any song stored in digital format, whether on a streaming platform or stored on a hard drive in your home network. You will have an infinite music library, accessible with the simple touch of a finger on your smartphone or tablet… or even from a Smartwatch! Naturally, Focus 10 also integrates analogue and digital connections - coaxial and optical - to connect, for example, a CD player, a TV or a turntable. The sub output allows you to connect a Subwoofer to complete your system, such as the Dynaudio Sub 3.

Exclusive technologies: Dirac / Wisa

Thanks to the sophisticated DSP – Digital Signal Processing – Focus speakers can optimize their performance based on their position in the room. Through the App you can select the position of the speakers in the environment - for example near a wall, in a corner or in free space - by choosing the appropriate option, the listening performance will therefore be optimized for that specific configuration.

And if that's not enough, there's optional Dirac Live optimization for performance tailored to your specific room, so that unfavorable room geometries don't harm the sound output.

The internal equalizer also intervenes automatically when the magnetic grille is applied to compensate the acoustic performance. The new blue “Y” shaped LED will begin flashing to let you know it is recalibrating.

Thanks to integrated WiSA technology, the speakers also connect wirelessly to compatible TVs or USB dongles, eliminating the need for bulky home cinema electronics.

And if you don't feel like using the Dynaudio App, you can use the Bluetooth remote control included among the accessories.

Scandinavian design

Scandinavian design is synonymous with simplicity, minimalism and functionality, and that of the Focus line is no exception. The refined slim design of the cabinet is designed to blend in with any decor, without the need to rearrange your rooms to integrate a Hi Fi system. The ultra-rigid MDF cabinet is the same used in the Premium series of the famous Dynaudio passive speakers. Dynaudio Focus 10 finishes are available: gloss black, gloss white, light wood and open-pore walnut.

Good design cannot ignore what is the flagship of the project: the drivers, the beating heart, join the body of the speaker via elegant aluminum edges. All revealing an undisputed attention to detail.

What reveals that this pair of speakers is actually an active audio system is the special Dynaudio logo with integrated interactive LED which shows at a glance how the speakers are connected.

Acoustic qualities

Active system means that each driver has its own dedicated amplifier, of the same type used in professional studios. In fact, the Focus 10 have an amplification module for the tweeters and another module for the mid/bass unit. This is to give each speaker an incredible degree of precision and control over their performance. This way you will find the type of detail you have always wanted, without compromises.

With a total of 390W of Class D amplification under the hood of each speaker (110W for the tweeter and 280W for the woofer), the Focus 10 is ready to fill even a medium-sized room with high-quality sound.

They also integrate an automatic safety system to ensure that the speakers are not damaged by listening at high volumes: a tailor-made high-pass filter reduces the excursion of the woofer as the volume increases. Really smart!

And, of course, all Focus speakers use Dynaudio's legendary soft dome tweeters, MSP – Magnesium Silicate Polymer – woofers and beautifully finished MDF cabinets. They were designed, built, perfected, measured and tested with all the obsessive attention to detail that the Danish company reserves for top-of-the-range speakers. Just as you would like.

The legendary Dynaudio drivers

Dynaudio has accustomed us to an absolute reference standard in terms of High Fidelity: this is thanks to the excellent technologies of the speakers, capable of surprising with their musical qualities.

At the top, the 28mm Cerotar soft dome tweeter reigns. Made with techniques and materials developed for the Confidence, Special Forty and Core ranges, including the Hexis internal dome (positioned just below the diaphragm and refines airflow to attenuate frequency response and reduce unwanted resonances). The optimized magnet system uses a strontium carbonate ceramic (Ferrite+) design to increase tweeter sensitivity, delivering incredible detail and a smooth, natural treble response. All this translates into comfortable and pleasant listening, without the slightest hint of fatigue... you will therefore be able to listen for longer.

The 14cm Esotec+ mid/bass driver is the best ever created in a chassis of this size. It originates from the design experience gained during the development of the new Contour series, a Hi End pedigree. The new surround and improved magnet system extend the frequency response further down, enhancing the stellar midrange performance.

Everything is configured from the simple and intuitive Dynaudio app. Set up your speakers, connect them to your network, assign presets and more, all in one place. Then you can use the stylish Bluetooth remote control or your mobile device to control your music.

These speakers are digital and digital means they can be upgraded. We'll send periodic firmware updates, which will automatically download to your speaker (you can choose whether to install them or not, of course). This means we can enable new features, improve adjustments as we refine them, and much more. You can update your system without even touching it.
