Cyrus One Cast is the innovative integrated streaming amplifier by Cyrus. Thanks to the generous amplification stage, One Cast can easily drive any loudspeaker – even floor standing and low efficiency! - and joins the successful Cyrus One Series (Cyrus One, One HD, One Linear and now One Cast) of the well-known Cambridge brand . Built around a 100 W per channel Class D stereo amplifier, it maintains the characteristic half-rack design but introduces an interesting innovation first in the world. Perfect for TV thanks to HDMI ARC

As the center of your home audio system, One Cast can connect to virtually anything that produces audio. From mobile phones, laptops, games consoles, set top boxes like Sky and of course the TV. Just thinking of the classic use in the living room, the HDMI port of One Cast is equipped with ARC technology that allows you to connect the amplifier to the TV and then - for example - to raise and lower the volume using only the TV remote control. Maximum simplicity, maximum comfort. The Cyrus One cast is also equipped with a well-crafted headphone amplifier, for late night listening.

Born for Streaming

With Cyrus Cast every connection is possible!

the Cast offers a truly complete range of inputs. The One Cast's analog inputs can also be configured in fixed gain mode. Cast is equipped with an analog RCA input, a phono input perfect for turntables, digital optical coaxial and digital TOSLINK inputs, an HDMI ARC input and a USB with audio resolution up to 32 bit and 192 KHz or DSD128. Ah, there's also a great headphone amplifier inside.

Hey Siri, put some Jazz in the living room! Thanks to the total integration with the Apple voice assistant, you can directly or indirectly control the Cyrus One cast, as part of the Apple home automation system. Using the Airplay2 protocol, you will send music in multiroom to all the devices in the house, including the studio or living room with One Cast.

Ok Google, let me listen to Stairway to Heaven with Cyrus! One Cast is Google Assistant certified and you can therefore use it as an audio end point for audio playback using the well-known Google voice assistant. Playlists, bands, volume… all controllable by voice. Even in the dark. How relaxing!

Alexa, turn up the volume to 70%! It's so easy to command Cyrus with Amazon Alexa, the American giant's voice assistant. Yes, because from today Cast is the first audio product in the world to be integrated into all three ecosystems of the Silicon Valley giants. Whichever system you use, One Cast will be compatible and controllable by voice.

Voice control

If you have a smart speaker such as an Apple Homepod, Amazon Echo/Dot or Google Home connected to the same Wi-Fi network, you can use voice commands to send music to your ONE Cast. manufacturers to learn more about what use you can make of your voice assistants. If it is in standby, Cyrus One Cast will activate automatically as soon as you ask it - directly or indirectly - to one of the assistants. In practice, you can listen to your favorite music, internet radio or podcasts with just a voice command, simply by asking to do so. By asking for example: "Alexa, play Lady Gaga in the living room" (having set One Cast as part of the living room) we will get high quality music all around our sofa, without even touching a button or the Smartphone!

Multiple wireless and digital options

Using AirPlay2, Chromecast or built-in Bluetooth, the ONE Cast can connect wirelessly to almost any device. Additionally, wired connections include a USB input for hi-res audio files from a laptop or streaming device, as well as optical and coaxial digital inputs. The built-in ESS DAC can handle digital files up to 32bit/192KHz and DSD 128. You can even change the volume of your TV using the HDMI-ARC input. ONE Cast can be inserted in a multi-room configuration, it is sufficient to assign a name and a position to the Cast to start listening to music, radio and podcasts, in any room it is located.

ONE Cast does not need a dedicated app

Just like with smart devices, you can connect to One Cast using Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal, Qobuz, Deezer or any streaming service you use on your mobile device. Two taps and the music that used to be on your phone now amazes your senses. Once you've opened your chosen music streaming service and played some music, simply select the 'Now Playing' screen and connect to One Cast just like with any smart speaker. The advantage is not being tied to specific manufacturer updates. Spotify or Apple Music will directly update their streaming apps. You will thus always be in step with the times.

Tip: Filtered AC current

In the HiFi listening chains, the various devices must be consistent with each other to get the best result. Amplifiers and delicate electronics should always be powered with possibly controlled and filtered electric current. Any noise induced by sudden changes in the home network or in the macro living area is reflected in voltage oscillations - even important and harmful to the device - which in the best case are detrimental to listening pleasure and the absolute performance of our devices . We strongly recommend the use of shielded power cords and good quality power strips with decent to good quality amplifiers and audio electronics. These improve the life and performance of the connected devices and also of the rest of the appliances in the house since they do not filter disturbances and discharges but, symmetrically, do not emit them. Toroidal electrical insulators for HiFi are also recommended to obtain the maximum in terms of listening and safety.
