Kef Kube 12 MIE is the Subwoofer of the Kube range, designed to discover the hidden depths of sound, enriching every HiFi system with deep and precise bass. This range of subs has recently been updated with the innovative Music Integrity Engine® technology

which together with the already well-known iBX (intelligent Bass Extension) technology dynamically extends the depth of the low frequencies, the new Kube 12 MIE is thus able to provide exceptional performance, superior to its competitors in the same price range.

The powerful 300 mm woofer in closed box configuration is driven by a powerful 300 W class D amplifier, capable of always guaranteeing maximum performance. Kube 12 MIE is designed to combine discretion and effectiveness. The sober design allows it to be positioned in any stylistic context. Thanks to Kef's unique ability to design, build and integrate custom-built drivers, sound optimization is exceptional. Music Integrity Engine

Kef's Music Integrity Engine is made up of a proprietary suite of internally coded DSP (Digital Signal Processing) algorithms, it is the brains behind wireless HiFi speakers and subwoofers. Each MIE is precisely calibrated to allow all components of the individual speaker or subwoofer to work in perfect harmony, elevating overall performance for remarkable sound integrity, detail and precision.​

After purchasing it you can improve the performance of your HiFi subwoofer by using an isolator from the IsoAcoustics range. It will help you have even clearer and more detailed bass, while minimizing unwanted booms.

Kube 12 MIE brings a range of LFE, line and speaker inputs, phase selection, crossover with adjustable low-pass filter. Additionally, three DSP-controlled EQ settings will help you optimize the Sub's sound based on its position in the room. All the depth of sound that every enthusiast is looking for, now contained in the compact Kef Subwoofer.

An extended family of subwoofers

This active subwoofer from Kef is one of the largest models that make up the Kube family and to which Kef joins the top model KF92, the ultra thin T2 and the prodigious Reference 8b, with even superior performance.

The Kube family is extremely convenient and is suitable for augmenting or completing HiFi and AudioVideo systems based on Kef Q Series or T Series, while it can also be used in combination with Kef R3Meta or LS50 Meta, LS50W Meta and LSXII speakers.

Filtered current, protected system

In HiFi systems the various devices must be consistent with each other to obtain maximum results. Amplifiers, electronics and in general everything that is equipped with a power supply should always be powered with controlled and filtered electricity. Any noise induced by changes in the home network or in the macro living area is reflected in voltage fluctuations - even significant and harmful ones for the device - which in the best of cases are detrimental to the pleasure of listening and the absolute performance of our devices . We also recommend in the case of active subwoofers like this Kube the use of shielded power cables or, if you need more sockets, good quality power strips.
