Cyrus One Linear is a set of premium bookshelf loudspeakers which, while expressly designed to be paired with the Cyrus One, One HD and One Cast family of integrated amplifiers, achieve extraordinary performance when paired with a variety of electronics. The sound quality of One Linear is very high and, if weighed in reference to the negligible cost of the speaker, it becomes something unique in the world audio scene. Cyrus One Linear are designed to have the classic linear frequency response with a 'British' edge. The goal is total neutrality of the speaker so as to allow the full character of the music to shine through and be revealed.

On the other hand, each loudspeaker can give its best only if combined with electronics, with an amplifier whose characteristics perfectly match those of the loudspeaker itself. In this case the One Linear has been optimized for use with Cyrus hybrid class D amplifiers. The One Linear, which works beautifully when combined with class D amplifiers as described above, is an absolutely beautifully crafted speaker with outstanding features. Often a flat or linear response from the speakers can lead to a "mushy" listening, but in Cyrus they have worked to an absolute level of detail. Thanks to the speed and accuracy of the drivers, One Linear amazes for the ability to enrapture and entertain for a long time without ever losing emphasis on high or low frequencies.

Drivers

The drivers used in the Cyrus One Linear use a double copper coil in an aluminum bath. In addition to guaranteeing great lightness, and therefore speed and responsiveness, this processing allows for the production of a strong magnetic field and therefore a great 'grip' and control at low frequencies.

Coils – windings

The One Linear coils are combined with KEVLAR woofer cones, a material that is in turn very light and resistant, ultra-responsive and which manages to bring the inertia of the speaker to the lower limit while maintaining its shape and characteristics even under pressure more extreme, when it is pushed to the limit by volume and frequencies. The bass velocity and accuracy resulting from this design and materials is remarkable and extremely rare in such compact speakers.

Tweeters

The tweeter consists of a dome of soft fabric capable of generating a response far beyond the limits of the human ear. Balanced and refined, it generates high frequencies that are never aggressive or biting but at the same time keep the detail of the recording intact.

Crossovers

One Linear's crossovers use high-quality capacitance in order to maintain signal integrity and smooth phase response when transitioning from high to low. Cabinet The cabinet was developed using an advanced software modeling technique called “Delayed Cumulative Spectral Analysis” in order to reduce cabinet noise to levels more than 35dB below the driver levels. The same computerized technique was used in the design phase of the crossover in order to guarantee a consistent performance even with off-axis listening.

Cyrus One Linear has a rear bass reflex and is ideally positioned about 10-30cm from the rear wall. This allows you to optimize the low frequencies and achieve extraordinary clarity in the mid-range, but of course your ear will take you to the best position in your room.
